Wire straightening and cutting

The wire that we use to produce our fences is delivered from the steelworks in rolls. A wire roll is places in a special machine, called a straightener, which straightens and cuts wire to the desired size. It is a preliminary, yet very important, stage of production, as any irregularities will be reflected in the finished products.

Panel welding

After the wire is cut to an appropriate size, it is transferred to a welder where the proper production of panels takes place. Vertical and horizontal wires are set in the right configuration, which is followed by a series of spot welding actions at the wire intersections. The welded panels are further transported to a press where reinforcement beams are made, after which they are stacked on pallets, ready for further production stages. As for flat panels, they are stacked on pallets immediately after welding.

Corrosion protection

Depending on the intended use, the panels are made of black wire (without protective coating) or a galvanised wire is used. Panels made of black wire are sent to a galvanising shop where they receive corrosion protection (zinc coat on a steel core) using the hot-dip galvanising method as per the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard. As for panels made of galvanised wire, they are placed on a modern painting line where several stages preceding the proper powder coating are performed. The panels are washed and dried, which is followed by passivation (the process of applying a nano-layer to improve paint adhesion and provide an additional corrosion protection) and drying. As part of the next stage, the panels are electrostatically coated with polyester which is next cured in high temperature, which ensures high durability and hardness of the coat.

Packing and transport

Finished panels are stacked on pallets (usually 50 panels per a pallet), fastened and secured with boards. Our company may boast one of the best panel packing technologies, thanks to which we were able to eliminate mechanical damage of wires and the coating and to provide high stacking of pallets for storage and transportation purposes.
